Due to significant casting news, including a sporadic rumor featuring Sebastian Stan this week, and teasers of what to anticipate from Matt Reeves, Batman Part II has been in the news for a few months. The speculation can be terminated as it has been announced that Stan will play Harvey Dent in the Batman sequel.
There were other ideas regarding Stan’s potential position in The Batman Part II, but the two most popular ones were Dent and Thomas Elliot. It is noteworthy that the clearance is for Harvey Dent rather than Two-Face, but THR has now verified that Stan is bringing the longstanding Batman ally and nemesis to the big screen.
There is not much information on the general plot and storyline of The Batman sequel, but Stan’s casting as Harvey Dent puts some other parts together. Similar to Stan, there had been rumors about Scarlett Johansson’s role once it was announced that she had joined the project. One potential portrayal was Gilda Gold; the other was the Phantasm.
This is due to the couple’s significant part in the well-known Batman tale, The Long Halloween. As the narrative progresses, it becomes clear that Gilda was the initial Holiday Killer, and Two-Face becomes involved. Casting two celebrities like Stan and Johansson would undoubtedly be the ideal approach to bring a major pair involved in that kind of plot to action.
Fans are more intrigued by the combination of Scarlett and Stan. They collaborated on Avengers movies, but this time they might appear on screen together in Gotham as a perilous pair in a cyberpunk, passionate, illicit story rather than as superheroes.
