Pete Davidson’s altercation with a different man is said to have worried his co-stars.According to The Sun, the 30-year-old comedy and actor “trashed his trailer on a movie set” and tried confronting a paparazzi photographer before being “constrained” by his fellow actors.
When the purported event occurred, the actor reportedly shot the next heist movie, Riff Raff. According to sources, he saw the photographer attempting to capture a picture of Davidson with his co-stars Bill Murray and Ed Harris. Production crew and co-stars had to “restrain” Davidson after he attempted to come to blows with the photographer because he was allegedly “so furious” about the conversation.
After returning to his trailer, the Saturday Night Live veteran “proceeded to trash it,” according to sources who spoke with the media outlet. A trusted source remarked, “He’s a good guy and everyone likes him. He’s obviously going through something right now and people are worried.” It happened only a few months after the celebrity, who had battled PTSD and borderline personality disorder (BPD), entered rehabilitation. At that moment, Page Six said that the A-lister was receiving treatment at an institution in Pennsylvania where he had previously made an appointment.
Following the 9/11 attacks claimed the life of his fireman father when Davidson was only seven years old, he has battled mental illness. An intimate buddy claims, “Pete regularly goes to rehab for ‘tune-ups’ and to take a mental break, so that’s what’s happening.” Previous reports state that Davidson was taken to a rehabilitation facility twice more, in 2017 and 2019. In 2018, he also prompted a police health check after talking about suicide on the internet.
The celebrity has been candid regarding his struggle with BPD, addressing actress Glenn Close in a Variety magazine conversation: “I got diagnosed with BPD a few years ago, and I was always just so confused all the time, and just thought something was wrong, and didn’t know how to deal with it. Then, when somebody finally tells you, the weight of the world feels lifted off your shoulders. You feel so much better.”
