With $80 million, “Marty Supreme” is officially A24’s highest-grossing film in North America. With $77 million locally, the sports movie surpassed the record set by “Everything Everywhere All at Once.”  “Marty Supreme” earned $17 million abroad and $97 million worldwide so far. It has just been published in a few foreign countries and will gradually spread over the coming weeks.

Over the course of the prolonged holiday season, it made $27 million after opening nationwide on Christmas Day. The movie, which is currently in its fifth weekend of distribution, is expected to make $6.6 million between Friday and Monday, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, for a total domestic total of $80.8 million.

As filmmaker Josh Safdie’s film struck a chord with viewers, “Marty Supreme” continued to be a theatrical attraction in the new year. The fast-paced, R-rated thriller centers on Marty Mauser, a fictional ping-pong champion who endures hardships to fulfill his dream of winning.
