Vince Gilligan, the creator of Better Call Saul, recently commented on Saul Goodman’s status. He expressed his opinions on what Bob Odenkirk’s character from Better Call Saul might be up to these days, offering rare revelations. He addressed this difficult issue in a light-hearted manner even when the show concluded in 2022.

At the conclusion of Better Call Saul, the title character confesses to all of his misdeeds and takes a longer prison term. Eisen brought this up and then asked Gilligan what he assumed Jimmy McGill/Saul Goodman was doing these days. “I think Trump pardoned him,” Gilligan retorted. Eisen and his camera crew started laughing as a result. Gilligan continues, “Kind of tracks,” as the laughter continues. “Kind of tracks. I think he’s a free man. I think he’s doing infomercials.”

Gilligan sheepishly said that he wasn’t sure when Eisen questioned him earlier about whether he had mentioned Goodman’s bodyguard Huell relocating to New Orleans following the events of the show. But he went on, “To me, I think he’s out living his life.I think Huell, he was bit of a rogue, bit of a criminal. he was a really good pickpocket.”

Eisen also asked Gilligan about the futures of a few more characters. He then enquired about Skyler and Walt Jr.’s current whereabouts on Breaking Bad. “I hope they’re not where we last saw them,” Gilligan remarked. They were living in a pretty sad-looking dire state. I think they got their life back together,” he continued, speculating that Walt Jr. most likely has a podcast or wrote a book about his father and hoping Skyler found a decent partner.
