The man of many faces, or phases, Robert Pattinson, might be adding another phase in his highly acclaimed career. This time, he morphed into an actual musician (no pun intended). The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers, or ASCAP, has officially authorised seven of Pattinson’s songs. And the songs are Bent Out That Midnight Day, Best Friend, Fascinate, Fell Off, Green Light, Waiting on Me, and Witness (You See Me). He’s registered as a songwriter and singer and is working alongside his old friend Marcus Foster.
The project is “emotional, raw, and very personal,” according to #ShuterScoop, implying that it is influenced by his previous relationships. Pattinson has registered seven new songs with ASCAP, which has fuelled some spicy rumours that some of the lyrics may have been influenced by his early relationship with Kristen Stewart.
As reported by an anonymous source, Pattinson is “pouring his whole heart into this record.” An additional unidentified source claimed the actor has been experiencing “a creative fever”, frequently writing lyrics late at night and tinkering with a mix of panoramic tones, strumming soul, and dark rock. The informant continued, “He’s finally ready to share the parts of himself he’s kept hidden,” implying that some of the upcoming content would discuss his previous relationships.
One industry-affiliated bird stated that this could be “his most honest work yet” and even speculated that “Kristen Stewart ought to be concerned; perhaps she is the muse that he can’t stop writing songs about.”
