Some believe Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson is guilty since he allegedly hired an internationally recognized attorney. The streaming market has been closely examining MrBeast over the last several months. Disturbing allegations have been made by former workers, who claim that Mr. Beast has been recruiting sex offenders, tormenting video participants, and falsifying giveaways. MrBeast may have engaged a lawyer giving the content creation industry bad press as the claims go unanswered.
Rosanna Pansino, a YouTuber and performer, has been monitoring the MrBeast controversy.
She pointed out during the H3H3 podcast that she had won a game, but the video showed MrBeast’s friends—including Logan Paul—getting the first-place cash award. She was among the first to charge him of fabricating challenge films. Later, she said that she had received letters from contestants on Mr. Beast’s Netflix show, alleging that they weren’t receiving fair treatment and that the game was unfairly skewed.
Pansino tweeted that Matthew Hilik’s crisis management firm had been hired by Mr. Beast. After beginning his PR profession at Weinstein’s Miramax, Hiltik currently represents politicians and celebrities. Many fans interpreted MrBeast’s purported hire of Hiltzik as an indication of guilt, or at most, fear. Then Pansino said that Hiltzik had MrBeast “leak” an email as his first action with him. She claimed that this was an effort to restore Mr. Beast’s reputation.
Composed by Mr. Beast and addressed to his staff, the email said that he had engaged Quinn Emanual, a law company, to look into the Ava Tyson claims and also to evaluate “our internal culture.” Although this inquiry is not over, Mr. Beast states in the email that he discovered plenty to “make several changes.”
“As your leader, I take responsibility, and I am committed to continue to improve and evolve my leadership style,” the statement said in its conclusion. “While I have been mostly focused on creating content, launching Feastables, building our community, and leading our philanthropic efforts, I recognize that I also need to create a culture that makes all our employees feel safe and allows them to do their best work.”
