On Wednesday, the actor Kevin Spacey was rushed to the hospital due to fears that he had a heart attack. According to People Magazine,. Spacey’s left arm feeling “numb” while visiting the Tashkent International Film Festival was the cause of the worries. The 64-year-old later revealed to the Los Angeles Times that he underwent an MRI scan after experiencing “eight seconds” of arm numbness. The “House of Cards” star also spoke at the festival’s concluding rite.
In a video uploaded to the festival’s Instagram page, Spacey said that he had been given the all-clear by medical professionals and that “everything turned out to be completely normal.” The actor stated, “I am, of course, grateful that it’s not anything more serious. But it also made me really take a moment and think to myself how fragile life is for all of us, and how important it is that we come together, that we support each other, that we do what we can for the next generation.” Once Spacey arrived back from the hospital, he asserted on stage that his health was “normal.”
The Oscar-winning actor was exonerated of all allegations in a sex offense prosecution in July. After more than 12 hours of discussion, jurors at Southwark Crown Court in south London gave unanimous verdicts on the nine matters which included sexual assault. It was one of the numerous allegations made against Mr. Spacey during the #MeToo movement that caused his career to crash after 2017. However, Spacey was able to avoid any legal repercussions and declared his intention to resume acting full-time.
