The breaking news unveiled by Prime Video that has grabbed the news headlines is the introduction of Ciaran Hinds, Rory Kinnear, and Tanya Moodie in the star cast of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2. The production of the upcoming season is going on in the United Kingdom. Kinnear and Moodie are British actors while Hinds is an Irish actor.
However, their roles still need to be disclosed. Before the recent announcement of the inclusion of this trio in the cast of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2, the following are some actors who have already been added to the cast – Oliver Alvin-Wilson, Stuart Bowman, Gavi Singh Chera, William Chubb, Kevin Eldon, Will Keen, Selina Lo, Calam Lynch, Gabriel Akuwudike, Yasen “Zates” Atour, Ben Daniels, Amelia Kenworthy, Nia Towle, and Nicholas Woodeson.
The first season of the show included eight episodes that came to end with the release of the last episode, Alloyed on October 14 at 12 a.m. ET. Whereas, the second season is expected to come out in 2024.
J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay still lead the show by being showrunners and executive producers. Other executive producers include Lindsey Weber, Callum Greene, Justin Doble, Jason Cahill, and Gennifer Hutchison. Kate Hazell and Helen Shang are producers while Charlotte Brandstorm is a co-executive producer.
