It is confirmed that Tilda Swinton has officially joined David Fincher’s new project The killer, with Michael Fassbender by her side.
Fassbender has already been confirmed to star in the project, the follow-up to Fincher’s last film, the Oscar-nominated look into Hollywood history Mank, starring Gary Oldman and Amanda Seyfried.
Filming for the feature – which will be released by Netflix – was due to start in Paris this fall, but seems to have been pushed back to next year, Tilda Swinton’s involvement of the project comes via The Playlist, who also confirms that the Oscar-winning actress will portray an assassin in the film, which is based on the French graphic novel series of the same name.
This Killer will adapt Alexis Nolent’s graphic novel into the big screen, which specifically deals with an Unnamed assassin played by Micheal Fassbender in a world devoid of any moral vacuum.
Tilda Swinton will take part in The Killer. Where else this goes remains uncertain, but being that she is the second revealed cast member and being that she is Tilda Swinton and how fantabulous she can be given the opportunity.
Production starts this November. Assuming Fincher can keep it to fewer than 96 takes per shot, one might expect a 2022 release.
