One of the most popular and legendary shows, “F.R.I.E.N.D.S” is back with a reunion episode, the fans were dying for this to happen since forever. It’s more than a dream come true that the most awaited comeback of the most streamed show has taken place.
The F.R.I.E.N.D.S reunion was announced in 2020 and it was to be aired on HBO Max last year but due to covid19 it got delayed and is now finally announced that it would hit the screen on 27 May 2021.
The trailer starts off with the caste recreating the famous scene with a twist from the season 4 episode 12 titled “the one with the embryos”. They are playing the trivia but with a different question.
Further in the trailer, the cast visits the set of F.R.I.E.N.D.S and recreates their iconic moves like chandler and joey hit the recliner together. All of them get very emotional and express how this place has so many fond memories of them and how this set and this show made them real friends for life! The camera then pans while the caste walks in near the iconic fountain and the famous brown couch is where they sit and have a fun interview as observed in the snippet where the interviewer slides in the most controversial topic of “we were on a break”.
Later in the trailer, they all are seen reading out off of the old scripts of the show. They are shown reading out their lines from the episode “the one where everyone finds out” while nicely seated around a round table. Jennifer expresses how people did not believe the show would give her success and she shrugs on it now after it is one of the greatest shows in history!
Lisa Kudrow expresses how intimidated she felt when she saw all of them for the first table read. She reveals that she still watched the show and that all of them make her laugh, even today.
On a funnier note, a small sneak peek suggests that there will be a fashion show starring some of the highlight costumes like Rachel’s wardrobe malfunction and Ross’s holiday armadillo that bring back memories like flood.
The trailer has left all F.R.I.E.N.D.S fans with moist eyes and a big smile. Until and after 27 may the social media will be filled with this and only this.
