Sanity is never an option if one is dealing with otherworldly creatures. But what if the otherworldly creature possesses you and does something so nefarious that you may or may not understand it at all.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, follows an extraordinary plot, the most important here it is it takes great inspiration from the real life murder case, Arne Cheyenne Johnson who defended himself by saying he was possessed by the devil.
The trailer subtly points out that it may be so that this film can be the last of the entire series. There have been several spin-offs like “The Nun” The Curse of La Llorona” and Annabelle. Julian Hillard will play the eleven-year-old demon-possessed boy David Glatzel. The film itself is nothing short, brilliant at least in its concept.
At least theoretically the film certainly has commented on something that we don’t really see a connection between a crime committed and supernatural elements involved in it. Can a criminal use this excuse and get away from justice. If yes then how come people act strange, hearing voices feel differently (I guess no one’s behind you right) check again.
Scary enough well then what are you waiting for, this may be just the thing you are looking for another interesting thing here is. The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” is directed by Michael Chaves and written by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and James Wan, who also created and directed the first two movies of the franchise.
So we can definitely expect the film to have a wider and more impactful reach. Getting out of that particular scenario of horror and exploring new boundaries is definitely something new and interesting here.
The film is set to debut in theaters and on HBO Max on June 4, 2021.
