Heads Up it’s time to Gorr the God Butcher!
One can hardly contain any excitement when one witnesses Christian Bale; our favorite Batman. To end up in a Marvel franchise film Bale, who made Batman The Dark Hero in a world full of black and white in Christopher Nolan’s Dark knight trilogy. Now, he is all set to play Gorr the God Butcher.
Photos leaked from the sets of Thor Love and Thunder reveal a bald Christian Bale with a rugged appearance. This was enough for fans to go gaga over this new look, and why not? If that wasn’t enough, then Bale’s look certainly has taken the Twitterverse by storm with fans speculating about the much-awaited film.
Who is Gorr? Born in an unknown unnamed planet with deep belief in Gods, he leads a life of misery, yet with an unwavered belief and unbroken spirit after losing his children to hunger and starvation and finally his wife to an unfortunate earthquake.
Seems familiar? Hmm, well that’s when he decides- “Enough of me being the good guy, I’ll rid this world of every last god, finish this hypocrisy once and for all.”
But apart from that, what is more interesting is it’s Taika Waititi’s debut as a director of a major Marvel film. Well, apart from what is available in this film is obviously the one and only (drum rolls) Thor the god of Thunder. Reprised by Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman’s character Jane Foster, there’s speculation that Portman may wield the Mjolnir.
And if that’s not all folks, Tessa Thompson would be reprising her role as the Valkyrie with Waititi himself. Reprising the fan-favorite Kronan the Warrior Korg, you may just see Guardians of the Galaxy make an appearance as well as Jamie Alexander’s Lady Sif from the previous two films.
The film is believed to be released next year on February 11th and is currently under production in Australia.
